Island Park offers an abundance of recreational opportunities on its many lakes and rivers. The world famous fly-fishing stream, Henry's Fork of the Snake River, winds through the meadows of Harriman State Park.

Outstanding skiing is found at the exclusive resorts of Big Sky, Montana, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Grand Targhee, Idaho. All are within an hour's drive of Island Park.

Views of spectacular peaks and lush meadows abound in the Island Park area. Locally, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing are popular in the winter, and in the spring and summer boating, hunting and fishing are favorite pastimes.
